Brief Description

The Price Shaman is an exciting auction-based game where you play as a savvy bidder, aiming to buy cars at the best price. Test your instincts by bidding within a price range: bid too low and miss out, bid just right for a profit and bonus, or bid too high and take a loss. Built in 3 days for the Live2Dev GameJam Indonesia with the theme "Cost," this prototype focuses solely on the thrilling car auction mechanic.

Tutorial: How to Play

1. Choose Your Character: At the start, select a preset character to represent you in the game.
2. Navigate the Auction: Use the Left and Right buttons to browse through available cars.
3. Place Your Bid: Enter your bid amount in the input field and press Submit.
   • If your bid is too low (<80% of the real price), you lose the auction and keep your money.
   • If your bid equals the real price, you win the car, pay your bid, and earn a $100 bonus!
   • If your bid is slightly below the real price (within 20% tolerance), you win the car and make a profit.
   • If your bid is higher than the real price, you win the car but lose money due to overpaying.
4. Manage Your Money: Start with $10,000 and aim to maximize your wealth by making smart bids.
5. Watch the Transition: When you submit a bid, the car’s image transitions from black to white, revealing the car as the auction resolves.
